British Heart Foundation: The “Big Half”

On the 4th of March, one of our own, Sales Director – Chris Dancer, ran the inaugural “Big Half” in London in aid of the British Heart Foundation
His “just giving” page has raised £1478, of which, A1 Pharmaceuticals donated £500 – making the total so far 147% of its target amount of £1000

Chris finished the 13.1 mile run in new personal best time of 02 Hours 29 minutes and 31 seconds.
Mo Farrah also took part in the event, coming in 1st place with a run time of 61:40, holding off Kenya’s Daniel Wanjiru, who finished several metres behind Farah in 61:43, with Great Britain’s Callum Hawkins finishing in third place at 61:45.
A1 Pharmaceuticals Plc regularly support the British Heart Foundation and encourage regular screening for blood cholesterol /triglycerides, BMI and hypertension.
Gary Lewis, founder of A1 Pharmaceuticals Plc is a big advocate for The British Heart Foundation as his Mother sadly passed away due to a sudden unforeseen cardiac arrest at only 69 years old.
