25th September 2004 - Champions Trophy Final England Vs. West Indies

A1 Pharmaceuticals treated several World War II Veterans to the Cricket Final at Kennington Oval. Gary Lewis, CEO is pictured with veteran Fred Reavell, 83 years of age, who is recovering from recent radiotherapy treatment. Fred was a keen cricketer right up until his 50's and recalled last being a spectator at the Oval in the 1930's. Fred is also something of a legend at Millwall Football Club where he has been a fan for over 67 years and is also there longest serving employee, keeping a watchful eye on fans as a steward on match day.
The West Indies clinched the Champions Trophy with a thrilling two-wicket victory over England.
West Indies 218-8 (48.5 overs) beat England 217 all out (49.4 overs)
19th September 2004 - ICC Trophy India Vs. Pakistan

Master Category of 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2004' celebrates the company's success, and the launch of a revolutionary hydrocolloid & Hydrogel Dressing called 'Flexigran', which has taken 7 years to develop with some of his esteemed customer's at Edgbaston where they gathered to watch the ICC Trophy match between India and Pakistan.

The match proved to be highly competitive and thoroughly captivating. India batted first loosing three early wickets, a strong innings from Dravid helped India to a score of only 200 runs. This raised the hopes of Pakistan running away with a quick victory but Pakistan's fate was mirrored by losing 3 wickets to Pathan’s pace. Middle order batsmen Inzammen (who reached a milestone of 10,000 runs in one day cricket) and Youanna fought to restore the match with fine batting but It went to the final over before Pakistan could seal the victory by three wickets.
4th September 2004 - Natwest International Australia Vs. Pakistan
Gary entertained fellow pharmacists and business associates at Lords cricket ground. The match between Australia and Pakistan was close and exhilarating, Australia won by a mere margin of 10 runs. Andrew Symonds hitting 104 (of 103 balls) not out. The final Score, Australia 269-6 (50 overs) beat Pakistan 259 (48.2 overs)

3rd September 2004 - Natwest Challenge England Vs India
Gary entertained fellow pharmacists and business associates at the Kennington Oval cricket ground. England
307-5 bear India 237 by 70 runs. England rode on the back of another thrilling Andrew Flintoff innings to thump India at the Ova by 70 runs.

During 2004 Gary Lewis has shown his appreciation to his long standing clients by organising trips to Wimbledon, Queens Club, various Cricket Matches, and Ascot. He has also invested his time, efforts and finances in the coaching and training of young and up coming sportsmen and women in various sporting fields, including Tennis and Rugby. He has also sponsored charity functions. Charitable work has been for sometime at the forefront of Gary's values and over the past few years numerous charitable events have received funnding.
