A1 Pharmaceuticals is a short range pharmaceutical wholesaler. Gary founded the company 15 years ago with only £1000 of capital, the company is projecting £28million turnover for this year with long term plans of stock market flotation. Gary's pro-active and dynamic approach has enabled him to lead the company through adverse market conditions and ensure year-on-year growth. The judges used the following criteria for making their decission: "The consummate sales professional must place great emphasis on serving their interests of both their customers and their company. The judges look not just for outstanding results but also a thoroughly professional approach. Understanding client needs and working with both external and internal to deliver business solutions to end-users is of paramount importance. In order to do so, candidates will need to display presentation, problem solving, business acumen and negotiation skills to a very high level. Effective time management and planning are essential as is good competence in prospecting and client management."
