Neil played his first round match against good friend Robbie Ridout (GBR) in a tough match that saw Neil win in straight sets 6-3 6-1. Neil said it was a hard match and a lot tougher than the final score suggests.
In round 2 Neil played Kevin Griekspoor (NED) and played some of his best tennis winning 6-2 6-3. Neil was delighted with the win and was looking forward to the quarter final draw.
The quarter final saw Neil take on Joel Cannell (GBR). Neil once again played some fantastic tennis beating Joel 6-4 6-2. Neil served really well and this got him out of trouble on a few break points.
In the semi final Neil played No1 seed Tallon Griekspoor (NED) in a long hard match winning 5-7 6-2 6-4. Neil played some high quality tennis and a great serve to progress through to the final.
The final of the Aegon F6 Futures saw Neil take on No2 seed Frederik Nielsen (Den) with Neil winning 6-4 6-4.
