A1 listed in Sunday times profit track 100
A1 continues its strong growth and has been nationally recognised as one of Britain’s fastest growing companies by being listed in the Profit track 100 in June 2014.
Fast Track, the Oxford firm that researches Britain’s top performing private companies, have researched over 1800 private companies in Britain to select Britain’s top 100 companies for profit growth out of which A1 was ranked 28 and number 1 within its sector and its county.
Profit track 100 ranks Britain’s private companies by fastest-growing profits where companies have to be registered in the UK and be independent, unquoted and ultimate holding companies.
Profit growth was measured by compound annual growth rate over three years where A1 has achieved a profit growth of 67.75 % in three years.
Profits had to exceed £3m in the latest available accounts and £500,000 in the base year where firms had to show a rise in profits from penultimate to latest year.
A1 is recognised as the only company within its sector and Essex have to achieved a National ranking in the Profit track 100, which has been running for 15 years with over 1,00 companies featured.
Guest speakers who attended the event were Tim Steiner ,CEO of Occado and Martin McCourt ,CEO of Dyson along with a list of Britain’s best business’s including A1 Pharmaceuticals Plc.
The combined profits of the companies listed in the Profit track 100 totalled £1.6 bn this year in a tough economic climate.
